Total chisel chain cuts more aggressively than semi chisel chain. At last, complete chisel chain would not hold an edge as perfectly as semi chisel chain so it has to be sharpened a lot more typically. If you happen to be chopping virgin timber and want pace go for whole chisel chain. If you happen to be chopping soiled or frozen wood go with semi chisel chain.
